PAM question

I compile on Solaris 2.6 with PAM on and shadow off, since that way I can
configure /etc/pam.conf to use currently RADIUS but moving to LDAP
authentication only for SUDO, telnet, and FTP, enabling SecurID token's,
which makes for much stronger security on an open network.

Subject:	PAM question

I'm considering changing the default for systems with PAM on them
to just use PAM by default. Currently you have to give configure
the --with-pam flag. If I change the default it would mean that
one will need to use --without-pam to disable PAM support.

Does anyone have strong feelings on this one way or the other?
