sudoer problems

Greetings,

I'm wondering if someone can help me with the
following problem?

I just inherited the management of a unix box where
someone created a user account with ALL uppercase
letters and since this is a software development box,
that username is now embedded in all apps. The app is
CDM2K, if anyone is familiar with it.

Anyway, I wanted to know if there is a way to to
create a UserAlias so that SUDO accepts the UID as
that, a UID, and not as a aliasname??

Any help would be appreciated.
