Hello All,
I am attempting to install Sudo on an AIX 4.3.3 machine. I attempted
multiple downloads as well as attempting to install sudo-1.6.6.0. Below
are the steps I took.
1) I obtained the AIX install "sudo-1.6.3.6" from the Bull site
(http://ftp.rge.com/pub/systems/aix/bull/) .
2) I ftp'd this (in binary) to the AIX server and put it in it's own
directory (/techsupt/sudo). It is
an ".exe file".
3) As root I changed the permissions of the file to
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root sys 266412 Jul 11 13:29
sudo-1.6.3.6.exe
4) As a non-root user I attempted to execute the file
./sudo-1.6.3.6.exe from its own directory
5) Below are the commands as well as the error message:
==========Start of commands
hhcidx1# ls -l

-rw-r--r-- 1 root sys 266412 Jul 11 13:29 sudo-1.6.3.6.exe

hhcidx1# r ls

Can some help? This seems like a good utility and I would like to try
it.
Also would someone know of documentation I can obtain for Sudo?
Thank you all in advance,
