Problems running Sudo v1.6.7

I'm currently experiencing problems running the latest sudo release, v1.6.7
under Linux (x86) and Solaris (sparc).

It seems fine, except if I include, in /etc/sudoers, the following line:

	Defaults	passprompt="Enter password for %u on %h:"

The presence of this causing the following error message to be generated:

	sudo: internal error, expand_prompt() overflow

It also happens if I include the percent escapes in the SUDO_PROMPT
environment variable.
I've used GCC version 2.95.3 on Solaris, and 2.96 on Linux if that's
relevant?

Any ideas?  Anybody else getting the same?
