Cannot guess build type -error

Hi,

 I am trying to build SUDO for a NCR system running svr4 unix
version.  When i run configure, i get the error 
Cannot guess build type.

The information it provides is:

    Apparently, it is not able to build the system type.
Can somebody provide pointers on how to proceed further.
