Check the permissions on your sudo executable. Make sure that it is
something like:
rws--x--x root:<something> /Your/Path/To/sudo
Make sure that your /etc directory is not NFS mounted from another system
with default NFS exports (that map a client's root user ID to user ID
'nobody').

Subject: ./sudo: can't open /etc/sudoers: Permission denied
Hi,
im getting very desperate now. I've tried a thousand times .. different
versions etc. But when I start sudo, i receive this error message:
./sudo: can't open /etc/sudoers: Permission denied
This file is chmod'ed to: 0440, and chroot'ed to user: root, group:
root.
Can someone please give me an answer?!!
Thanx in advance!!!
