[sudo-users] How sudo works with nis in hetrogenous environment

Hi,
I have configured nis in my office.
i want to make it in centralised fashion.
in my office i have 10 solaris and 4 linux boxes.
i installed sudo package on /usr/local . i have automounted on it.
it works with solaris boxes .but in linux boxes it doesnt read from /usr/local.it reads from /etc/sudoers file.
this is urgent.
