[sudo-users] sudo ldap compile problem

I did a ./configure --with-ldap --with-pam and it goes through fine but make
dies. This occcurs on RHEL2.x, 3.x & 4.x.. This compilation problem also
occurs in all of the latest sudo packages that i've tried, up to p12.
