[sudo-users] LDAP groups

What are the chances that sudo works with straight LDAP groups?  I'm not
referring to a posixGroup, but simply an LDAP group.  I ask because apparently
netgroups don't get "cleaned up" in Sun One LDAP server when a user is removed.
 It becomes necessary to manually clean up netgroups.

As such I'd like to make use of LDAP groups to provide access, if possible.

Any idea?
