So, add something like this -
John ALL = (ALL) /usr/bin/su - applprod
Or get "fancy" and develop the whole string of aliases for Commands,
Users and Runas
Either way it should work - you can also give them the NOPASSWD: option
to not require them to input a password, but those are all available
options in the FAQ that you could read about...
