[sudo-users] SHA512 Passwords on Solaris Seems to Break Sudo Authentication in 1.8.11 to 1.8.12

Sorry, I misread your initial email and thought you were using
SHA512 digests in sudoers, not SHA512 passwords in /etc/shadow.

When I change the CRYPT_DEFAULT in /etc/security/policy.conf to '6'
on a Solaris 10 intel VM I am able to reproduce the problem.
