"man sudo" only shows the MANual page for the software (how to use it - many programs have associated man pages), that should be unrestricted. It's when you run sudo itself supplying either a command or switch that the restrictions are activated.

Subject: [EXTERNAL] [sudo-users] man sudo

hi,

i am trying to uninstall the app "formal search" which somehow made its way
unto my macbook pro and ran across the terminal app, typed "man sudo" and
was NOT asked my admin password. does that mean there is a bug?

i am clueless on these deeper digital things. just want to uninstall formal
search because it keeps popping up. for some reason i can't enter my laptop
as root user so wanted to try terminal but obviously i'm not understanding
enough.

can any of you help? yelp.

thanks
