We're still on schedule for a 1.6.4-final release on Monday.
The following changes have been made since 1.6.4rc2:
o Fixed a compilation problem on AIX which for some reason appears
to not be prototyping malloc(). Explicit casts are now used to
pacify the AIX compiler.
o install-sh behaved badly if neither whoami nor id were found.
