Sudo exporting variables in the .profile

Hi, I was wondering if there was any way to export variables that have been 
set in the shared ID's .profile.
Can the .profile be run upon the execution of each command?
Could the command su be inserted into the sudo command to do this?

Has anyone had this problem before?
What other types of solutions are there, that won't push the development 
staff to hate me anymore...
