User_Alias syntax

Hi,

I have problems when adding a user whose logname is Dan.Hou when I
visudo. It always give me syntax error. I tried to escape the dot but
did not work for me. I am not sure if visudo refuse to use upper case
user name.

Another problem is I have a bunch of user dev_1, dev_2, ...dev_20. Is
there a convenienct way  to add those users to my User_Alias? I tried
dev_[0-9]?, dev_[0-9]* but seems not work either?
