/etc/sudoers file

All,

I used so far sudo version 1.5.6.p5 with /etc/sudoers linked to
/db/sudo/etc/sudoers
This worked fine.

I wanted to install Sudo version 1.6.3p7, but it appears that the
/etc/sudoers cannot be a link to an NFS mounted sudoers file.
The system replies when ones types sudo : ./sudo: /etc/sudoers is not a
regular file

Does anyone have an idea on how to make the new version working with
/etc/sudoers as a link?
