[sudo-users] RE: Question about the installation of sudo

Hi,

I think to install this new sudo version:
sudo-1.6.8p4-sol9-sparc-local.gz, I need to do the following, can you please
let me know if it is correct?:
 
1) cp /usr/local/etc/sudoers /usr/local/etc/sudoers.solaris8
2) cp sudo-1.6.8p4-sol9-sparc-local.gz  /tmp
3) cd /tmp
4) gunzip sudo-1.6.8p4-sol9-sparc-local.gz 
5) (Do I need to do pkgrm here, if yes of which package?)
6) pkgadd -d sudo-1.6.8p4-sol9-sparc-local
7) cp /usr/local/etc/sudoers.solaris8 /usr/local/etc/sudoers
8) remove spaces or tabs before labels in file /usr/local/etc/sudoers
