I think it should not be that hard to setup NIS supportl.  It should be a
matter of linking a library, and telling it to get the password from a
different place.

I think the LDAP shoould be about like that as well.

I have over simplified it, ut that is what my thought was.

I do have an interest/need for LDAP and NetInfo and NIS support.
